Yield to maturity is the expected or anticipated rate of return on a bond if it is held until the maturity date. Many investors do not understand yield to maturity and how it is calculated. There are various factors used to calculate the yield to maturity, the calculation involves the current market price, coupon interest rate, par value and time to maturity. It is considered as a long-term bond yield expressed as an annual rate. The yield to maturity is an assumption that the bond will be held until maturity, that all the principle and coupon payments will be made and coupon payments will be reinvested at the bond’s promised yield at the same rate as invested. In other words, it is a measurement of the return of the bond.

Arsenal are seemingly out of the race for the premiership with this defeat while Chelsea still have slim hopes of winning the league after this magnificent comeback inspired by Didier Drogba.

Arsenal went in front through another unlikely source when Bacary Sagna put them in front from a near post header. They had chances before then with Kolo Toure and Robin Van Persie.

Chelsea then came back with 2 goals from Didier Drogba, the 1st of which was offside but it does not matter as they deserved to win this game as they packed the harder punch with Arsenal content to just pass the ball for the heck of it instead of doing something meaningful with it.

Imagine for a moment that you are driving into a dense evening fog on a country road. Surrounded by white, you can barely see past the front of the car, much less the end of the road or your destination.

With the headlights only able to provide visibility on the asphalt directly ahead, you resort to moving forward slowly, as you focus on the part of the road you can see.

Almost magically, each time you reach the end of the headlight beam the fog seems to dissipate and you can see just a little bit further down the road.

Bonds are debt instruments issued by a government, corporation, or governmental agency which covers money the bondholder has lent. A person who owns a bond of a company is actually a creditor of that company. Bonds can be taxable or non taxable. If a person buys a taxable bond he takes some risks.

The risks involved in buying taxable bonds are mainly of three types — liquidity risks, credit risks and prepayment risks. A detailed overview of these three risks will help us to understand whether to buy taxable bonds or not.

Not all of us are expected to be complete knowledge holders when it comes to the selection of a desktop computer with a bewildering array of choices at our disposal. Before a prospective buyer goes out for shopping for the latest desktop computers, he is required to decide the reasons of usage. Most of us use a computer to check and send e-mails, perform word processing or browse the Web. If your needs are restricted to these things, try your hand on a simple computer. On the other hand, if you are expected to make extensive use of the computers for transfer of database or editing video files, then you must look for a high-end computer. If gaming is your priority then a multimedia supportive high-end desktop computer is an excellent option for you.

This negotiation lesson is not about watching someone’s body language, or how you should listen to the unspoken word. Instead it’s about long term negotiation positioning. The kind of positioning that can help you when you find yourself negotiating in and during controversial or explosive situations.

Recently there was a very explosive situation that occurred, related to a political figure and sex (surprise, surprise - OK, no commentary). As a result of that situation, the politician resigned from office. Now of course, he was not the first politician that got caught with his pants down (I did not have sex … never mind), but why is it that some politicians can stay in office during such turbulent times, while others have to resign? The answer to a great degree lies in the way they negotiate their way through the situation, while implementing their ‘game plan’ with the public.

Many brides are planning their own bridal showers these days. Traditionally, the maid-of-honor would organize and host the shower. But in recent years, brides have become more involved in planning their own showers.

Also it’s becoming more commonplace for men to be invited to showers. Whoever is invited and whoever is hosting, the key is to create a relaxing environment where people from both sides of the family can get to know each other. Friends and family can get acquainted whether it is a mid-day brunch, an evening at a restaurant or a day at the spa.

They, meaning the suffering church. The persecuted church. The church in pain. We, meaning the western church. The comfortable church. The prosperous church.
Are they really different from us, or is it only that there is a government in place that hates Jesus more than ours does? Or does it mean that we don’t speak up and speak out enough for Jesus? Do we speak the whole truth about Christ or are we afraid of political correctness?

Consider the relatively recent stories of the following brothers and sisters (these are current stories.) Perhaps in the reading, God will convict us of work we are not doing, or at least make us grateful to belong to such a wonderful family of people.
